Bullying and Harassment Awareness

This half (1/2) day training course will raise awareness of potential bullying and harassment in the workplace. It will provide the opportunity for participants to gain an understanding of organisational policy and procedures and empower them to recognize and tackle bullying and harassment in the workplace.

Upon completion of this course participants will be able to:

  • Define bullying and harassment in the workplace

  • Recognise bullying behaviour in themselves

  • Understand the legal and organisational position

  • Work towards developing prevention strategies

Contractor Health & Safety Management

This half or full day training course will provide managers, supervisors and workers, with the skills necessary to apply the correct principles to manage safety in contractual relationships. 

Upon completion of the half day or *full day course participants will be able to:

 

  • Interpret legal requirements

  • Understand principles behind an effective contractor management system including:
    – Contractor selection
    – Contractor performance, measurement and monitoring
    – Importance of close out and evaluation

 

Participants of the full day course will also be able to:

  • Undertake analysis of their own organisation’s contractor management program (* full day).

This half (1/2) day workshop provides an understanding of what is a true Safety Culture in organisations. It is typically characterised by the everyday behaviours of individuals and teams, in alignment with organisational safety goals.

  • Identify the typical behavioural traits and elements of a strong Safety Culture

  • Assess the behaviours inside the organisation that contribute to a strong Safety Culture

  • Understand why systems and processes alone may not improve Safety Awareness

This one (1) day training course will provide a general induction to work health and safety legislation, processes and best practices for all workers and managers. It is designed to provide understanding of the roles and responsibilities under the safety legislation.

This one (1) day training course will provide managers, supervisors and workers, with foundation level skills for the effective response, management and investigation of safety incidents.

  • Undertake initial assessments

  • Participate and assist in incident investigations

  • Assist in the reporting of outcomes of investigations

  • Apply principles of risk management as part of workplace safety management system

 

Participants of the full day course will also be able to:

  • Undertake risk management activities including inspections and assessments (*full day)

Emergency Response

This half (1/2) day training course will assist participants to prepare for emergencies in the workplace and know how to react in case of them occurring. It is increasingly important that work colleagues are fully prepared in cases of emergency. As such, this course can be customised to meet our client’s specific work site and occupational needs.

Upon completion of this course participants will be able to:

 

  • Identify the types of emergencies that may occur in their workplace.

  • Understand their Health & Safety Obligations and Responsibilities of Work Colleagues.

  • Establish how to prevent Emergencies from occurring.

  • Establish First Response initiatives.

  • Establish Emergency Response Teams/Responsibilities.

  • Write Emergency Response Procedures.

  • Put plans in place to practice Emergency Response Procedures.

 

This course has been designed by experienced Safety and Emergency Response Facilitators to meet client’s Emergency Response needs.

 

The course has been designed to be interactive and
includes workshop facilitation to encourage participant engagement.
